About
Us
Alpacas of Sunset Hill LLC
is set back in Northern rural Connecticut. Norman, Cara,
and Alex Nadeau run the ranch. We have created a stress free
environment of raising the worlds finest livestock of Alpacas.
Currently, Alpacas of Sunset Hill LLC has six Alpacas, one
Lama, eight fancy chickens, one fancy rooster, two dogs,
four Siamese cats, two barn cats, and African cichlid fish.
Wild birds and bats visit us daily. Overall Nadeau’s
ranch environment is a peaceful tranquil place for all animals.
Furthermore, half of the ranch runs on renewable energy. During
the week Norman is an Investment Advisor and Insurance Executive.
Cara is a Respiratory Therapist, and Alex is a 5th grader in
Willington Elementary School. The family also participates
in Tae Kwon Do in Somers also for self-defense and physical
conditioning. The ranch was established over three years ago
as just raw land and developed in a real Canadian Livestock
Ranching facility. Our herd is growing with our defined and
selective breeding program. The public is more than welcome
to visit this Alpaca Ranch anytime. In the past,
Channel 3, PBS, CPTV, and local universities have visited the
ranch to show the beauty of the Alpaca ranch to the public.
We have a renewable energy project called project FEEDS (Friendly
Environmental Energy Dependent Systems). Since
the ranch plans to become fully supported by renewable energy,
the presentation helped address the benefits of Alpaca breeding
and renewable energy. We are working with state and goverment
agencies for funding and education of our ENERGY FUTURE.
So come today and get your ALPACA
THERAPY and discover the beauty of ranching!
